Proper Wild Review 2026: Is Proper Wild Worth It? We Break Down 3 Best-Sellers
Last updated October 2026 · Researched from properwild.com, retail and trade-press coverage, and the few independent customer reviews we could find
Proper Wild clean energy shots and gummies, brand image from the official store
Energy products come with a lot of promises, and the obvious question is whether a "clean energy" shot or gummy is actually any different from the can of soda-flavored caffeine on the gas station shelf. Proper Wild says it is: the brand pairs caffeine from green tea with L-theanine, skips artificial sweeteners and flavors, and sells everything in small, portable formats. It describes the result as smooth energy with fewer jitters and a gentler crash.
This review looks at the three products currently featured on the store, what the brand says about each, what we could verify, and where the gaps are. It is a researched review, not a hands-on test: we did not taste or take these products, and every claim about effects is the brand's own. The short version is that Proper Wild is a focused, fairly transparent energy brand with a small range, a final-sale returns policy you should read before ordering, and mixed independent feedback on taste.
This article is general information, not medical advice. Caffeine and supplements are not right for everyone, so talk to a doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, nursing, sensitive to caffeine, take medication or have a health condition.
Quick Verdict
Best for: People who want a portable, plant-based caffeine option with L-theanine and no artificial sweeteners or flavors, and who like the idea of sampling a variety pack.
Skip if: You are sensitive to caffeine, you need a product with a standard no-questions return policy, or you want a wide catalog to choose from.
Price range: From $23.99 for a 6-pack of shots to $59.99 for the daily multi, at time of writing (October 2026).
Our rating: 3.5/5, based on the brand's published formulas and policies, a verified discount through our link, and limited, mixed independent feedback. We have not personally tested the products.
What Is Proper Wild?
Proper Wild is a US energy and wellness brand best known for its "clean energy" shots, which it later extended into energy gummies and a daily supplement. The store describes its range as deliciously fun, clean energy shots and gummies that deliver a perfect boost. The brand's pitch rests on a consistent formula: 100mg of natural caffeine from green tea combined with 120mg of L-theanine, an amino acid found in tea that is often paired with caffeine.
According to the brand, that works out to about twice the caffeine of a shot of espresso and about 15 times the L-theanine of a cup of green tea. We could not independently verify those comparisons, so treat them as marketing claims. What we can say is that the brand has been covered by beverage trade press such as BevNET over the years, including coverage of packaging and formulation updates and, more recently, of its push into gummies, which suggests it is an established operating company rather than a pop-up.
The online store runs on Shopify and ships within the United States only. The catalog is small, which is a plus if you want a simple decision and a minus if you want lots of choice.
Is Proper Wild Legit?
On the evidence we found, yes, it looks like a genuine operating brand. It has a real website with a published shipping policy, returns and refund policy and a support email address, it sells through retail partners as well as direct, and trade press has covered it for several years. Nothing we found suggested a scam.
Independent customer feedback is thin. The one review aggregator page we found listed the company at 2.4 out of 5 from only seven reviews, mostly about the energy shots. Several reviewers criticized the taste, with a few saying the energy effect did work. Seven reviews is far too small a sample to draw a firm conclusion, and taste is subjective, but it is a fair warning that flavor may be hit and miss. We found no meaningful Trustpilot or Reddit discussion to balance this out, so we cannot say more.
The biggest practical red flag is the returns policy, covered below: purchases made directly on the site are final sale, with a limited refund promise for dissatisfied first-time customers.
The Best Proper Wild Products, Reviewed
The store lists only three products in its featured selection, so this is a short list. We have covered all three, and we have not padded it with items the brand does not sell.
1. Superfood Daily Multi for Women — Best for a daily supplement routine
Proper Wild Superfood Daily Multi for Women, product image from the official store
The Superfood Daily Multi for Women is the odd one out in the lineup. Unlike the shots and gummies, it is not an energy product by its listing; it is categorized as a supplement and aimed at a daily routine. The store listing we reviewed gave very little detail beyond the name, price and category, so we cannot tell you its full ingredient list, serving size or dosages here. Check the Supplement Facts panel on the product page before buying.
At $59.99 it is the most expensive item in the range. That is not unusual for a daily multi sold direct to consumers, but it is a meaningful commitment for a product with very little independent review coverage. Because it is a supplement, any benefits you read about on the brand's site are the brand's claims, not something we can confirm.
Pros
Gives the brand a non-caffeine option for a daily routine
Same brand and store as the shots and gummies, so one order covers everything
Our verified discount applied to it in the cart test
Cons
Highest price in the range at $59.99
Little product detail on the listing we reviewed and no independent reviews found
Direct orders are final sale, so you cannot simply send it back if it is not for you
2. Proper Wild Gummies 10-Pack — Best for portable, shareable energy
Proper Wild Clean Energy Gummies 10-Pack in Strawberry, product image from the official store
The Proper Wild Gummies 10-Pack takes the same caffeine-plus-L-theanine idea and puts it in a chewable format. According to the brand, the gummies use 100mg of natural caffeine from green tea and 120mg of L-theanine across a serving, and they are made with 100% plant-based ingredients with no artificial sweeteners or flavors.
The pack is sold as 10 packets, and each packet holds four bite-sized gummies. The brand states that each gummy contains 25mg of caffeine, so a four-gummy packet matches the 100mg figure, and you can take fewer to scale your dose down. That flexibility is the main appeal: you can take one or two gummies for a lighter lift instead of committing to a full shot. The brand says the effect lasts four to six hours with less jitter and crash, which we have not verified.
The trade-off is cost and choice. At $39.99 for 10 packets, you are paying a premium over a typical caffeine pill or a cup of coffee, and there are only two flavors. It is also worth remembering these are caffeinated sweets, so keep them away from children and pets.
Pros
Easy to carry and easy to split into smaller doses at 25mg of caffeine per gummy
Plant-based, with no artificial sweeteners or flavors, according to the brand
Two flavors, Strawberry and Sour Lemon Lime
Cons
Only two flavors to choose from
Pricier per serving than most everyday caffeine sources
Effect claims come from the brand; we found no gummy-specific independent reviews
3. Proper Wild Shot 6-Pack — Best for trying the brand's core product
Proper Wild Clean Energy Shots 6-Pack in Blackberry, product image from the official store
Price: $23.99 · Type: Energy shots · Flavors: Blackberry, Peach Mango, Ginger, Strawberry Kiwi, Lemon Lime, Apple, plus Originals and Favorites variety packs
The Proper Wild Shot 6-Pack is the brand's core product and the cheapest way in at $23.99. Each 2.5 oz shot has the same 100mg of green-tea caffeine and 120mg of L-theanine, is made with 100% plant-based ingredients and natural fruit juices, and contains no preservatives, artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors, according to the brand. It says the shot works within 15 to 30 minutes and lasts four to six hours.
This is also where the flavor range is widest: six single flavors plus an Originals variety pack and a Favorites variety pack. If you are unsure which flavor you will like, a variety pack is the sensible first purchase, especially given the mixed feedback on taste we saw from the small number of independent reviews. Do note that a final-sale policy means you cannot swap flavors after buying.
At roughly four dollars a shot before any discount, it is not a budget energy source, but it is a reasonable price for a small-batch, plant-based shot compared with many specialty wellness drinks.
Pros
Lowest entry price in the range at $23.99
Eight options, including two variety packs, so you can sample flavors
Natural fruit juices and no preservatives or artificial sweeteners, per the brand
Cons
Independent reviewers we found were divided on taste, with some finding it bitter or artificial
Roughly four dollars per shot before discount
Final-sale policy means a flavor you dislike cannot be returned
Quality & Ingredients
Across the energy products, the formula is consistent: 100mg of caffeine from green tea and 120mg of L-theanine per serving, plant-based ingredients and no artificial sweeteners or flavors. That consistency is a strength, because it makes the products easy to compare and easy to scale. The brand also says it works with natural fruit juices in the shots and plant-based ingredients in the gummies.
What we cannot do is verify the claims about performance. Statements like "reduced crash" and "reduced jitters" are the brand's, and caffeine affects people very differently. For reference, the shot and a four-gummy serving each carry 100mg of caffeine, which is meaningful if you already drink coffee, tea or other energy drinks the same day. Add up your total intake, and pay attention to the Supplement Facts panel and warnings on each package.
The daily multi is a different category, and we did not have a full ingredient list for it, so we make no quality claims about it.
Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Shipping: Standard ground service within the United States only; delivery time varies by location.
Returns: Purchases made directly on the Proper Wild website are final sale, and the brand does not accept returns on its products.
Refunds and replacements: If you are dissatisfied for any reason, the brand says it will refund the amount paid for your first order, limited to one item of your choosing. Email support@properwild.com with your name, order number and reason within 30 days of receiving your order.
Food products: The brand notes that food safety laws mean it cannot accept returned food products.
Subscriptions: Renewals and later shipments are generally non-refundable once processed, and you need to cancel an active subscription separately in your account portal.
Retail purchases: If you bought in a store, the brand points you to the retailer for returns.
The practical takeaway: the first-order refund is a decent safety net, but it is limited to one item and you must email within 30 days. If you are trying the brand for the first time, choose the item you are least sure about for your first order, or start small with a variety pack.
Proper Wild vs. Competitors
Standard energy drinks: Cans from the big names are usually cheaper per serving and far easier to find, but typically use different caffeine sources and sweetener systems. Proper Wild trades convenience and price for a plant-based, L-theanine formula.
Other wellness energy shots: Small-format shots from other health brands compete directly on portability. The difference is mostly in ingredients and flavor, so compare labels rather than assuming they are equivalent. We did not compare competitor prices.
Coffee or tea: The cheapest and most familiar option. Proper Wild's argument is a precise caffeine dose with added L-theanine in a grab-and-go format; if you already enjoy your morning coffee, you may not need it.
How to Save at Proper Wild
The sheet we were given lists the code JAYSONREVIEW as 20% off the entire order. We tested the code through our link in a cart containing a full-price item: a $59.99 subtotal received a $11.99 discount, which is 20%, and the code applied automatically at the cart level. So the 20% is verified on a full-price item. We did not test sale items, so we cannot confirm whether the code stacks with sale pricing or applies to every product on the site, and the "entire order" wording was not independently confirmed.
If you want to try it, use a Proper Wild promo code link and check the discount line in your cart before paying. You can also see all current Proper Wild coupon codes and deals on our store page. Combined with the first-order refund policy described above, a discounted first order is the lowest-risk way to try the brand. Be careful with subscriptions, since later renewals are generally non-refundable.
What Real Customers Say
Independent feedback is limited, so this section is short and cautious. We found only a handful of reviews, mostly about the energy shots rather than the gummies or the daily multi, and nothing substantial on Trustpilot or Reddit.
What people liked:
Some reviewers said the energy came on quickly and worked as intended.
The clean ingredient list and plant-based positioning are a consistent selling point in retail and press coverage.
The portable format is convenient for work, travel and workouts.
What people complained about:
Taste: some reviewers described the shots as bitter or artificial-tasting, which is why a variety pack is a smart first order.
Price and the final-sale policy, which make a bad flavor an expensive mistake.
With so few reviews, please treat these as hints rather than a verdict.
FAQ

How much caffeine is in a Proper Wild gummy?
The brand states 25mg of caffeine per gummy, with four gummies in each packet, for 100mg per packet.
Does Proper Wild ship outside the United States?
No. Per the shipping policy, products can only be shipped to addresses within the United States.
Can I return Proper Wild products?
Direct website purchases are final sale. The brand does offer a refund of your first order, limited to one item, if you contact support within 30 days.
Is there a Proper Wild promo code?
Our link applies the code JAYSONREVIEW, and in our cart test it took 20% off a full-price item. We did not test sale items.
Which product should I start with?
The Shot 6-Pack at $23.99 is the cheapest entry point, and a variety pack lets you sample several flavors at once.
Final Verdict
Proper Wild is a small, focused brand with a clear idea: caffeine and L-theanine in a clean, plant-based, portable format. Its policies are published, the formula is consistent, and our Proper Wild link applied a verified 20% discount on a full-price item. On the other hand, the range is tiny, direct orders are final sale, independent reviews are scarce and somewhat mixed on taste, and every performance claim is the brand's own.
If you like the concept, start with the shot variety pack or the gummies, use the discount, and keep the first-order refund in mind. If you are caffeine-sensitive or want an easy return policy, look elsewhere or ask a professional first.
How We Researched This Review
This is a researched review, not a hands-on test. We used the Proper Wild online store for prices, product descriptions, shipping and returns policies, then tested the discount code in a real cart through our link, and searched for independent reviews and press coverage. Prices were checked in October 2026 and may change. Anything about energy levels, focus or health effects is the brand's claim and not medical advice.
